One of our favorite categories, the hand carved wood animals are always a hit. Depending on the carving involved, the wood is cut, carved, kiln dried and then patched and sanded before the finish paint is added. We use an undercoat or primer to assure the paint looks good and holds. Unlike many wood carvings from Indonesia which are not kiln dried, ours are guaranteed against cracking.
